Appointment of the New General Director of the Algerian Fund for Startups

The new General Director of the Algerian Fund for Startups has been appointed, succeeding Mr. Aouba Hachani, who held the position between 2022 and 2024.

Mr. Anis Rahabi, an Algerian banker and a graduate of the University of Nottingham in the UK, has extensive experience in managing relationships with multinational companies and financial institutions, where he has held several leadership positions.

He began his career in the banking sector, working at several international banks such as HSBC and Citibank, and has also held leadership roles in relationship management and business development. He possesses deep expertise in project financing, international trade, and sustainable finance. In addition to his professional career, Mr. Anis Rahabi actively contributes to banking education in Algeria through his role as a supervisor and lecturer at the Higher School of Banking.
